Opinion on which Tiger Woods rookie - 1997 Master Collection

First this is not a SCAM, I am just asking your opinions.

I am looking a two real TIGER WOODS 1997 1998 Grand Slam Ventures GSV Masters Collection rookie from a reputable dealer.

One is GOLD FOIL PSA 8 for $200

Other is (NOT GOLD FOIL) BCCG 10 Mint for $250.

Which is a better investment? Perfect BCCG 10 (not foil) or Gold Foil PSA 8? Which is rarer. Which will go up the value more and easier to sell in the future (5-10 years)?

Thanks,

Rob

    BCCG 10 is at best a PSA 7.....probably a PSA 5

I would not touch a BCCG card for more then I would pay for it raw.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
  • I agree with Mrmint!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure someone out there will tell you the one time their BCCG crossed over to PSA, but in my opinion it is atleast 3 grades off from PSA.

  • How about a BGS (non-foil) 10 vs the PSA Gold Foil 8 vs BSG Goil Foil 8?

The Gold foils are a lot tougher.

I would not touch a BCCG either.

You can normally pick up PSA 8 examples for fairly reasonble (non gold foil) although i will be honest I have not looked on line or anything lately to verify this. I think for a gold foil that is an OK price for a PSA 8...but just my opinion. They are quite a bit more rare.
