Variety ID for US Reeded edge half dollars?

Anyone have a URL for this?

I used to have access to one on the HA site, but that appears no longer active.

I've also got Reiver's VIM so we have at least two folks who potentially could help. Additionally, it seems to me that the VIM has not always been easy to find on the Heritage site.

Here are the seller's pic from the BST. I purchased a couple weeks ago and noticed it was way different than the other two I have, I was wondering what this one was.

BTW, where can someone get the Revier's guide?

You have an 1839-O large letters Type 3 R.E.
What are the other ones you have?
The Type 2 var. have small letters, closed talons, two arr. shaft feathers
and less feathers showing below the stem.

I seem to have misplaced my Reiver V. I. D. pages for 1839 so can't give you
the JR # at the moment.

Not sure, and I don't have pics at hand on those.
One is a medal turn but has some corrosion on the obv.
The other was cleaned, but of course, none of my descriptions can be used for variety ID.

Is the O mintmark recut at the lower left? If so, your coin is
most likely a JR-1.

Perhaps TomB can narrow it down better.

I do not see a recut on the mintmark; what I do see is:
A crack across the entire date from the right side of the 1 to the lower left side of the loop on the 9.
A crack across the head from just behind the eye to the middle of the curl below the Y in LIBERTY
A crack from star 7 to 11
A crack from star 4 to 6

On the reverse
A crack joins ATES OF AMERI
A crack from edge through ERIC out to the edge again, this probably broke off before long (by the looks of it)

On the other two:

Mintmark appears to have a recutting showing to the southwest (not overly obvious)
No die cracks that I can detect obverse or reverse.

A crack from below star 1 through 1, 2 and 3, out to the edge near star 4, but not contacting star 4.
No obvious cracks on the reverse, this one is rotated 180 (or nearly 180) (medal turn).

It appears from the images that you have a JR1. The mintmark looks to be recut along the bottom portion. This might be state b or state c based upon the obvious heavy die cracks below the majority of the legend, the lumps formed in the cracks, the die crack from the rim through the E of AMERICA and what might be evidence of the plane of the field on the reverse being shifted by the disturbed letter R in AMERICA. I own the same die pair, but from an earlier die state.
