Heavyd5424, beware of him

He owes me $70 in cards. I sent him a Culpepper auto card, and a Chris Redman Fleer Autographics. I have yet to recieve any cards from him. I was supposed to get 4 Tom Brady RC's and a Marquise Walker Auto. It has been 1 1/2 months. I have repeatedly sent him messages. I wouldn't trust him to send cards. I know some of you have traded with him, but I also know that he has done this to many other people. If you are one of the people with a bad experience with him, reply here. We don't need scam artists or bad traders here. Just a warning to you newer people and people that are thinking of trading with him.

I've had the same problem with him...keeps claiming he will send and has not done a thing...he has said at least 3 times he will send replacements for cards he claimed he already sent...it's been 2 months and he said today he will send a 30.00 g/u or auto card...i won't hold my breath

Strange that the cards I was supposed to get from him were 2 Brady rc...and now he is sending replacements

He bailed on a deal with me when I demanded that he send first. I still think heavyd is brees9 with a different user ID.
Same town. Same "style". Same type of flat-out stealing from people.

It's not hard to do. Get a new ID, make a few small good trades to get people to trust you, & then start stealing. That's why this board sux. It's too easy for them.

Yep, I had a similar problem with him backing out of a deal with me. Agreed to the deal and then traded the card to someone else. Luckily, I had not sent my end yet.

Nah, the board doesn't suck at all. You just have to be leary of who you trade with, even possibly have to do research on the person and what have you. If you think the board sucks...then no one is asking you to stay. Just my 2 cents...

I haven't made a trade since I got burned.

It appears that Heavyd made good on some trades so that he got a good reputation. Now he has several people (Belfan & Remster...others too?) complaining that he stole from them. He made good trades & got positive feedback from many other traders. How are they supposed to know it would happen to them?

To me, that means this board sucks. There is no feedback forum at all.

I just wander out here once in awhile to see if anything catches my eye. I will demand others send first from now on & long-time traders won't want to do that with me.

Slice60, this forum is like alot of others where you need to do refs cks but even then like you said you can still do a few good trades and then rip someone off. No place is perfect and all have their problems. If your interested in a more secure/mature trading site try Traders Retreat. I did PM you. I told you that I didn't get the cards yet, and that you had 3 days to either get me the cards you owe me, or send my cards back. That's plenty of time to send them Priority. I warned you I would do this, your only reply was asking if I got the cards yet. Of course I had not. I wouldn't do this if I had. I'm sorry ro everyone else that they had to see this, but you were warned. I hope some people have learned from my mistake of trading with you.

ok, well take care of me...i still have yet to receive these replacements, and youve yet to even tell me what they are...its been a month since weve dealt, and still nothing...please get back to me.
