Cheap display case from IKEA

Wanted something like this for a while but never made it up there to get one. Today I sent our delivery driver up there to get a couple for the dealership so I had him pick one up for me while he was there.

60 bucks - you can't beat it

now I gotta find a place to put it and start loading it up

All your Yankee stuff is gonna look great in there Mike, and it's very smart of you to keep those Boston hats nearby in case the cats need to take a quick dump.

Nice case. I like it. How sturdy is it? If a toddler decided that she wanted something in the case, how difficult would it be for her to get it... or knock it over?

...nice if you want to display your stuff, I prefer to keep mine in a chest buried 6 feet under in my backyard.

It's pretty sturdy, no wobble to it. The door has little magnets on the top and bottom. Not the kind that push and release and the pull handle is at the top right. Would probably take a little work from a toddler to get in it but I'm sure it can be done.

It weighs about 90 pounds so it's not tipping over very easily

My dog was gonna drop a dump on my Red Sox stuff, but he told me that would be redundant...

Does anyone know where you can buy a low profile stand that holds a slabed card? I have seen the ones that mcolney1 uses, which are very nice, but I was looking for something where you cant see the stand/holder once the card/slab is in place.

Books are complete sets in Ultra Pro pages and housed in unikeep view case binders. Much better than a 3-ring binder.

I really like those cabinets that mcolney1 is showing and took a look on IKEA's web site. Looks like they are selling for more like $300 these days if I got the model right. But still could be worth the investment.
