GAI - Free Card Grading???

    sounds like desperation.

    Basically higher grades = more cards paid for.
    In the USA all men are created equal but some are more equal than others....

    GAI is in the same boat as PRO and the other 4th rate tier of graders. Baker took a fast fall from his days at PSA. with the fake autographs he signed off on at the old GAI he should be doing jail time.

    even if the grading was free, I still dont think it would be worth it

    If any grading company steals your cards what could anyone do? That's a scary thought. I hope I never have this issue. I mean seriously....what could you do? Other than having a submission form you would be screwed.

    I like the concept. Just not with them since their name is mud. Too much money is wasted on getting cards graded that aren't top tier cards where the value you get back is a lot less than your investment. I would love to see something like this here. Also better to not have cards that are major disappointments in the grade that you receive taking up space in a slab.

    Interesting concept... Pay nothing when you're getting nothing.

    I realize Baker has rendered his name virtually worthless, but I wonder where Rocchi ended up... Folsom?

    Is there a thread or article that details how GAI got in the crapper? I know that's where they are and I would rather have a card in a semi-rigid than their holder but feel like I might have only caught a couple of details of their voyage to the bowl. Thanks in advance for any info provided.
