Anyone get calls from Beckett?

Just wondering if anyone else was getting calls from Beckett grading. There was a message left on my cell phone from the sales dept. I haven't bought a beckett in 4 years, and stopped sending them crap in over 3 years. Is this a plee to try to get people back?

They are going full force with marketing the grading side of things. They are setting up at more shows than ever and are partnering with stores for submission days. I think they have lost a lot of business by not sticking to a certain grading standard and many dealers and collectors jumped ship to psa.

They called me a few months ago offering me a free month of their OPG if I bought a month. So I bought a month and they forgot to set me up for the free month. In fact, they set me up on auto-renew so I paid for the second month. After a few emails, they set up my free month for the third month, but it really wasn't worth the hassle.

I think another thing is their volume of sales in the price guide market. Except for their graded card price guide, all of their other price guides are the most useless pricing guides ever created. Not one realistic price in the book and people have finally started to realize this and the sales have fallen, forcing beckett to focus on the grading as their main source of income

I received a couple voicemails from them. Very long and heavy on the pitch.

Beckett sent me an email, saying I am a "Preferred Customer" and for me to call a number and negotiate my next order. And then gave me an example of how 10 cards in 10 days with an auto, plus shipping and insurance, would cost. I called and it was legit.
