Tick tock, tick tock. Grades are in.

Waiting on my first sub in 4 months to pop. Probably a couple days to go. Dunno why I'm so anxious, I ruined the best card in the sub. That hasn't been easy to get over, and don't think that I haven't tried. image

Speaking of tic toc, is the PSA Grading Professor on sabbatical? Where's the knowledge?

Sure, here's my lesson for the week:

Take a NM-MT card that's trapped in a PSA 7 holder. Start cracking the slab. While doing this, stop paying attention when the slab is almost cracked and bend the NM-MT card, putting a nice, thick crease in it. Send card to PSA, get a PSA 3.

    There you go.

Great post. Most people would end up with a psa 2 instead of a psa 3. See, we can learn.

Wake up in the morning feeling like RonBurgundy
Grab my slabs, I'm out the door, I'm gonna hit this card show
Before I leave, I quench my thirst with a box of wax
'Cause when I leave for the day, there's no time to relax

I go over all of my checklist, lists
Looking for cards I missed, missed
My wife's blowing up my phone, phone...
    Ripping some modern wax packs
Looking through tons of card stacks
    Selling those crappy game used...

    My sub, make it pop
    PSA blow my mailbox up
    Tonight, I'mma fright
    'Til I see the sunlight
    Tick tock on the clock
But my grades they never pop, ohh

Well, here they are. Ok with them, I guess. I had super high hopes that the Brooks RC would be 7.5 or 8, it is extremely well centered with just a little bit of print. The damaged Mays wound up a 4. The Ryan RC is an exceptionally nice, well centered 7. Wehmeier is tough even in a 6. Other comments below.

Several of these will be for sale on the BST. I will give away the Mays to the person who makes the highest offer to donate to my favorite charity. Details will be up over there in a bit.

Nice sub Ron. Better than the $5 footlong. Seriously, how much is the 52 High # worth in an 8 and how much did you pay raw?---The answers to those questions are what we all like to know.

Sounds like a nice little sub - grades I got yesterday had a few that were one grade lower than in the past too.

I'd advise to get rid of that Mays ASAP - who needs a reminder of a whoopsie hanging around?
