Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

If you were ever thinking about buying modern cards, this week is the time.

2010 Bowman will be out soon, it will contain a few players who are super hot including Strasburg and Castro. Starling Castro had his first game yesterday and
drove in 6 runs. If you are at the shop and see this for a decent price I would be all over it.

I was just going to comment on the Castro buzz. His cards are going nuts on ebay.

If you get excited by the thrill of the risk, Castro is a good target and an opportunity to to gain or lose with wide swings. If you're concerned about your investments retaining their value, I'd look at some of the cards of the player in Cubs41s icon. He was a pretty good Cubs shortstop too and the way cards are priced for hot up and coming players, might not be that much more expensive. Or as expensive depending on what you choose.

How many Castro's would you pull from each bowman chrome box on average? This is actually the first time i've seen a Bowman Chrome prospect blossom on ebay since getting back into the modern days of the hobby.
