Anyone know what the rookie cards are of Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson?

I need to get rookie cards of Tito Ortiz and Jenna Jameson. Anyone know what year and company that is?

Thanks,

Mike

I believe Jenna's rookie season was '94. Not sure which company issue was her first. Did Vivid do a set that year?

    poor Jenna.

her lips are so overinflated, she got mistook for a life preserver.
  • Jenna Jameson had a card in 91 or 92 under her stage name of Genesis. She must've been 18 or 19 at the time. Topless.

  • Mike-

Here is a blurb from Beckett

From the strange but true sports collectibles department: Tito Ortiz, one of the most popular and influential figures in the history of mixed martial arts, has just four trading cards — all from last February’s 2009 Topps UFC Round 1 product — and zero certified autographs.

I'd scan the card for you, but I'd need a pretty huge smiley face to cover up most of it. Her future goal on the back is to become a housemom.

I've believe she's played the role of housemom several times.

Thanks to KatsCards, I've got a Jenna rookie on the way. Has anyone got a 2009 Topps UFC Round 1 Tito Ortiz like Rick mentions above? I saw one on ebay, but it pictures him with another fighter and I don't know if he won that match or not. Would prefer just a run of the mill solo card of Ortiz from that Round 1 product if anyone has one they want to move.

Tito won that fight by decision, but the card you are looking at is about Patrick Cote's UFC debut. Tito was on the outs with the UFC when that set came out, but that might be as close as you can get. You could get it signed by both and it could be a rookie of Tito and Patrick.

The problem is that most of his cards are unlicensed and made by clothing companies, sponsors, etc.

I personally did not like the round one product too much because the cards were made like that Patrick Cote vs. Tito Ortiz, etc and many times they took photos where you could not even see the guy.....large pictures of nothing, referee, etc. Nothing like a traditional card that you would expect. The idea was to picture the fighter in their first fight in UFC.

There are some so called "rookie review" cards of Tito on ebay that purport to be from 2002/2003. Are those fake? (IE, in reality not issued back then)

  • Mike,
That looks like a photo that could have been taken back then, but he is not in a UFC "Octagon". Tito only had one fight that wasn't in a UFC ring and that was in 1998.
I was looking for a Donruss Americana card when I came across the blurb from Beckett. I think you would be safe going with the "rookie review" card as a rookie card based on the picture.

I think those Tito cards were made then but they must have made about a million of those cards....what time of time frame are you looking at for the Tito cards (to be in your possession)? I am getting one that was made by Tito's camp that is not too common. Unlicensed but much better than the Rookie Review card.
