Ebay Changes....Good or Bad for you.

I have been doing a lot of rework on auctions, combining things and the like, but it appears....that the new eBay system is going to be a good thing for me. Sales are a little higher, even though my auction numbers are ~25% less and my eBay invoice was about 20% less then the previous month.

Stats show I am getting 5-6 time the page views then before the change.

How about you?

Clear Skies,
Mark

I haven't sold anything in a long time and just listed 40 items
with everything at .99 cents to get the free listing. I'll see how it pans out next week when they end. Other than that, I haven't noticed anything differently since I've been buying the past couple of months.
  • I don't sell, but it would be good...
  • Push in terms of sales, maybe a little bit better but it's hard to tell how much of that is what I am selling or the changes eBay has made.

The jury is still out. It remains to be seen for me if the higher fee's will be justified by more exposure on BIN items and therefore generate more sales. It's too early to tell. I'll give it 3-4 months.

I'm expecting about $60-80 more in monthly ebay fee's, so to me my gross sales would have to jump about $500 a month to cover those fees while still trying to make a profit on the items I'm selling.

    Higher seller fees= bad.

Less actual card auctions = bad.

More, high priced BIN items = bad.

So far, it's not looking promising.
