I am certainly not complaining. This was a great deal but I guess I was just wondering what everyones sniping stratagies are (if you are willing to share). Personally I will set about 20-30 low ball snipes whenever I have any free time (once or twice a week) and every once in a while I will win one, like this. I will usually set my snipes on auctions with 12-18 hours left so I can see what price it is at and the general trend.
Am I alone? Does anyone else set a bunch of low ball snipes or is it just me?
On a seperate note. I have a 53 Topps set that I have been working on for a few months now, everything is graded PSA 5-6, I set this snipe when it was at $50. I really have no need for a 7.5 so if anyone has a PSA 5-6 and cash or other cards I would be happy to trade. Otherwise I will probably just flip it and by a 6 myself.

I don't use a snipe program, but I do snipe in-person. I always considered using a program, but I'm never sure which one is the most reliable.

About 40 were those super rare R314D's (aka R314 type5), I believe most got shut out on them, someone just put crazy snipes and cleaned up on 95% of this impossible set. Usually there are 2-3 a year on eBay, yesterday alone there was 48.
Only card I won was a E285 common.
