Multiple grading companies..

If you use multiple grading companies, do you send certain items to certain companies, base it strictly on grading costs, or something else?image

    All my fake autos go to GAI.
    All my autos added on from backdoored cards go to PSA.
    All my trimmed cards go to BGS.
    All my damaged cards go to GEM to get the oh so easy to fool the ignorant "10".

    If it's a set I need to keep working on and need to find more examples easily in the market place it goes to PSA. Better availability.
    If it's got a weird shape and/or PSA would put it floating in a card condom it goes to SGC. Better presentation
    If it's a complete set and not black bordered it goes to SGC. Better presentation.
    If it's a pack it goes to GAI or whatever they are called now. But only if it's in a PSA holder to begin with, buying raw is like throwing money away for the most part. Again, better presentation.
    If it's a coin it goes to PSA. Ditto T3/T9/PerezSteele. SGC's holders are too big. See reason above.
    If it's a 3 card ad panel it goes to PSA- the holder is a perfect size, and again, SGC's are too big for the item. See reason above.

    Bottom line is I want a holder that presents the card well, and doesn't overpower it.

    I'd never crack a PSA graded pack in favor of GAI's better presentation. Or any other reason, for that matter.
