Best Time to Sell?

I was thinking of sending some cards to prewar card collector for his may auction. I just wanted the boards opinion on which auction might be best to consign with him. He seems to have one every other month or so. Is May a good time or later in year? What do you think? Thanks.

<< <i>Right now. I'm seeing crazy junk vintage sell for $$ on ebay right now. Throw in a few beat up stars and you'll get $1/card easy. >>
are you talking about raw baseball lots? In vintage football I am seeing common 1960's football in PSA 8 selling for $5-7 all day long, how can anyone make any money doing that?

I'm talking raw lots, some real dogs too. It's a good game plan, put together a lot of 100 vintage cards (e.g. 1966 topps baseball) and as long as they are VG-EX, you'll get interest. Then throw in two or three beat up stars and a few mid and hi's, and you've got a lot that's going to get you upwards of $1 a card.
Here's a random example

When you have something that Joe Tuttle, Donald Spence, or mets-71 want.
If you can hook all three, plan a long vacation.
