    Sweet! Not sure if I like the idea of Topps Vault affixing their hologram directly on the cardbacks, tho (especially the vintage issues).

    I think it was pretty smart of Topps to cut Beckett out, meaning move to the hologram. The sticker, hologram, case likely cost them at or a little under a $1...it perhaps doubles the profits on the lower end sales.

  • The hologram works perfectly but only if you can track the number to the actual card. I own a 1984 Topps John Elway Proof, it has the holgram but only a generic certificate with the number on it. Sucks for such an important card.
