Beckett Website ?

Ok, to those of you that frequent the Beckett site or are members I have question.
Is one able to download checklists like one could in the past to an excel spreadsheet? Do you need to be a member for that??
Anyone with experience using their site for inventory at all??
Thanks,
jay

You can only DL complete player or set checklists if your paying for a priceguide. They come in locked PDF.

You can do it on the Beckett website if you have a membership, but the site is pretty horrible overall and seems to work only about 80% of the time. The VCP checklist is pretty incomplete from a player collector's standpoint, and also does not currently list anything past 1999.
Go to Beckett.com
Type in the player name in the box that follows "Start your search" on the upper left by the magnifying glass
Click on "List View" tab
Sort by year
In last dropdown, select the highest number for items per page
IIRC; if you are a member of the Beckett site; you can get a PDF sans prices of any set checklist. I don't know if you can copy and paste that into excel

<< <i>I bet all the people who say they hate the beckett site actually go there to get player checklists among other things...
I will agree, except hate is a little strong...although I think we all agree it sucks. It does have the best player checklists, and every now and then I will even purchase from there.
In the past it had the worst of all the forums due to the sheer amount of inmature kids that posted there. (Which is not to say that CU or other forums don't have them). But then a year ago now I guess they redid their site and made it completely unfriendly. Most left their forums to Freedom and other places. Let's hope they fired whoever was running the website, but being an American company he was likely promoted.
Clear Skies,
Mark
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Unfortunately, if they don't routinely fire the dart-throwing 'senior price analysts' who are responsible for the abomination that is the Beckett Price Guide then it's unlikely they canned the Mensa who designed the new website.
