Thought I'd post this link incase anyone out there wants to start their 1979 Topps hockey graded set. High grade cards in this year are very hard to find.

    Jimrad. Thanks for saving my stupid self. I believe you helped me last time that I tried to post a link to my Ebay auctions. Guys like you are the reason I stay around here.

    Yes they're mine. I always sell off my lower graded cards when I get a upgrade on Ebay. I only buy and sell this year and I've been able to get 4-5 new guys to start sets which is always cool.

    By the way, Mike is a top notch guy and incredible person to work with. He sold me my 79 Gretzky PSA 8 and I couldn't be happier.

    Good luck with the auctions. I'm watching a couple. This thread caused me to go back and look at my raw set I bought out of packs when I was a kid back in 1979. One of my favorite hockey
    sets. I'd like to keep that set intact with a couple minor upgrades. If you or anyone has these in nm grade let me know I'd be interested:

    74, 76, 89, 100, 114, 131, 217, 220, 237, 261, and 262.

    Also, would love to know what is meant by the different sticker cards of the Canadians?

    Again, good luck. I got my eyes on a couple.

    Aconte, the Canadiens stickers were inserts in the 1979 Topps hockey packs. There're 21 total for that year. In 1978 Topps hockey they inserted stickers as well but had blank backs. People confuse the two some times. Let me know if you're really interested in some raw Topps because I have 1000's and alot are beautiful which I'll sell you very cheap so you can complete your set. I believe I also have some of these PSA graded as well. Hope this mail helps. Thanks, Mike
