EOT on '71 baseball, now what? Need help!

Had all of these come back EOT, a very humbling experience to see the results for the first time. Thoughts, prayers, sympathy? Although one of my Dad's favorite lines is, "you know were you can find sympathy in the dictionary? Between "Sh*t and Syphilis." I put up big scans so maybe someone can point the trimmage out to me because obviously I missed something. I loved these cards too, boo hoo. Thanks. Doug

I'd try again.
Without holding them in hand, it is hard to say "for sure,"
but they look pretty OK to me.
If they measure and don't have even upward/downward
descending edges, I would just resubmit them.
Maybe that's a red flag for them?
They still look like very nice cards, you can still love them even if PSA doesn't.

The upper left corner of the Josephson looks a little off unless it is the scanner.
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

they appear even height at the top but the Fuentes
card appears to be much shorter at the bottom.
Put one on top of the other to get a better idea.

Yeah, that Fuentes looks a lot shorter than the Dean. Have you measured them? Also, the Finger test is a good idea. look at the four edges under at least a 4x lens and see if thye all look like the same sort of edge.

agree with finger-testing and examination under a loupe to detect a border cut which looks too precise, then an Exacto blade probably did that.....good luck Doug.
card. I purchased these along with about 30 other '71s back in the mid-90s from a mail order card dealer out of Minnesota. I believe Minnesota Sports cards or something like that but not completely
sure on the name. I've been a little leary to even attempt to send the others in after these results. They are all from the same place and come back EOT, I'm afraid they might all be tampered with. Kind
of ticks me off that I've had them all this time thinking they will be in my '71 set forever and now could be worthless. Thanks again for your thoughts. Doug
An easy way to check for (poorly) trimmed cards, is to hold the edges against a hard, flat surface (I use my desk) -- if it doesn't sit flat -- it's likely been trimmed.
Better trim jobs are tougher to spot and the above method does not catch edges that have been well-trimmed the entire length.
Hope this helps,
Scott
