Anyone been to Topps in NY?

I'm headed out that way in a couple weeks and I wonder if there is a mini museum or tours for consumers at their headquarters in NY.

Also, are there any good card shops or shows between and/or near Laguardia and Bethel, CT? I may have to kill some time..

thanks

What dates will you be in New York? There is a big show at Hofstra University on April 24 and 25. Hofstra is in Hempstead, NY (on Long Island). If you are going to be in Manhattan (NYC) there is a train that you could take to Hempstead (about a 30 minute ride) and it will let you off about a 5 minute cab ride from Hofstra.

PM me if you want more info.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • I went to their offices in 1995 and at that time there was no museum or anything like that. My only regret was that Bill Haber; the great Baseball researcher was not in the office that day and I never got to meet him as he passed a few months later

You might want to check if they give tours at all

  • Thanks guys,

Doug, i'm flying in to LaGuardia late on the 19th, driving to Bethel CT, and then driving back to LGA and flying home on the 22nd late in the day. My only time would be morning and mid day on Thursday. Looks like i'll miss the show but if you know of any good shops near LGA, let me know..

    thanks
