Hi, I know there have been a few posts on here about Tim Carroll and his AMAZING art work. I received an email from Tim that contained photos of my latest commission, a 1966 Topps Tony Perez, so I thought I'd share photos of the work he has done for me so far. Back in the summer, I contacted him about creating a 1964 Topps Pete Rose. That first piece turned out so nice that I decided I had to have another. After some back and forth conversation with Tim, I decided to go all out and have him commission my own personal "series", which Tim dubbed the "Big Red Machine - The All Star Rookies". The series contains the first "solo" or single card of each of the "Big Four" from the Big Red Machine (Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez and Joe Morgan). The neat thing about each of the cards in this series is that they all contain the Topps Rookie All Star Trophy, hence the name of the series. Tim is going to start on the final installment shortly (Morgan) and there will be an interesting twist. At any rate, I just wanted to share and to let everyone know that if you have thought about having Tim do work for you, you will not be disappointed.
