Bought a cool card from Bunchobull, 1990 Topps Frank Thomas NNOF

Paid for this one a few minutes ago. I've wanted one of these for a long time. I'm going to have it autographed for my signed rookie card collection. Card has some corner wear and is otherwise soft, but it will be awesome signed and slabbed "authentic". Thanks for making it available Ross.

No problem Mike, thanks for a smooth deal. I look forward to seeing the project get done.

I know he's doing inscriptions for a fee. May be worth paying to get him to sign his full name rather than his current scribble.

On the front, although I know then it won't be a NNOF!!

If he'll do it neatly and compactly, I'd like to inscribe it as follows:

"A legendary card of a legendary player, Frank Thomas"

However, I don't want that taking up the full front so I might not request it as I can't count on him being neat and compact. A careful person could fit that right under his right fist and above the blue box using a fine point sharpie.

I think a funny inscription would be

    FRANK THOMAS

    NOF NOW

I think it would be classic and somewhat ironic to have him sign it in the blue name field that was left empty...

    Or...

    "Frank Thomas

    I fixed it."

Not to sound picky, though this is a unique card, I would have it signed in person at a show and ask for a nice clean autograph, nothing more than his name (and not on the box).

No, I agree. I think most folks were just joking. I wouldn't sign over the blue either for two reasons:

1 - small area, who knows how it would affect his signature if he tried it

2 - that blue void with no black ink is what has made the NNOF an iconic modern card

Since I won't be there in person to "manage" the signing, I'm going to get it name only, but if I was there, I would try to get his nickname as well, "Frank Thomas, The Big Hurt".
