One, Sports Heaven is in Chesterfield Town Center, a mall, and sells mainly jerseys, t-shirts etc. haven't been in there in years, but they used to have some unopened new releases - but not what I consider a card shop.
Another, Beck & Little is on Cary Street. I generally go to the Cary area to eat or go to some of the shops when I'm in Richmond and I have never noticed this place.
Ball Four off Hull is probably the best shop. Shop is pretty small, but really neat. They have two walls with cards, nothing great, behind glass and will have new releases. Older couple from Pennsylvania, I think, runs this place.
The shop at Willow Lawn, is mostly World of Warcraft, etc. He does have some vintage cards in a showcase and has a binder of vintage he will let you look at if you ask. Also, he used to keep binders on a countertop with star cards that he sells for $1.00 or less. Have found some SPs, remember finding a 2007 Goudey Griffey SP, in these binders. He also has new releases. Guy who runs this place looks like a sixties guy with the hair and all, but not too bad to talk with.
Been a couple of years since been to any shops in Richmond.
Like Walnut, I have cards that need to go, if you want to meet up you can take what I have...but it's all hockey.
