YAEEQ - Yet another Ebay Etiquette Question

I won an fairly high$ (for me) BIN Tuesday night from a well-known player in the card biz, paid that night, and sent the seller an email the next morning asking for a ballpark idea on delivery as I have some travelling to schedule. No response so far, even the obligatory 'Thanks for winning' email that many sellers send. FWIW, the item listing only says 'Estimated delivery time varies', but it also says they will contact shortly after auction ends.

For you higher-volume sellers - is there any value to sending another email so soon, or even to escalate a bit by contacting them via other means? Maybe they loaded up the truck and went to Chicago and aren't checking emails timely??

I would think by now regardless of the dollar amount there should be some sort of contact. I am sure that the seller is not going to beat you, but I know I would want the item ASAP.

Many of the larger sellers do not event check their email. When I buy from 4SC, OCSI, or some of the other "big" guys, it is completely useless to send an email because they'll never respond or read it.

If they are a reputable seller you'll get your card in 3-7 days from payment, no worries.

Thnaks for the reassurance. I actually did get shipping info today. It's my first-ever graded cello, so I'm probably just a bit antsy.
