Cracked open and resubmitted only to get a lower grade.

Has this ever happened to you? I had some free submitions so I had 10 PSA 8's of the same cards from 1974 so I cracked open the best one and sent in. I thought it might get a .5 bump only to find out I get a PSA 7 yes a down grade of 1 point ( what the heck is up with that) anyone?

On just about any card IMO.

It's just part of the grading game.
This is trite but the "good" of TPGs far outweigh the bad IMO.

I used to be down on PSA for this, always wondering, "Why can't they just get it right the first time?" Now I've come to realize that, with the inherit subjectivity of grading, expecting a particular result is just not realistic. When assessing raw cards (either for sale or subbing), I often change my own opinion several times...going up and down with the grade like a yo-yo.
It's nice when they come back with EOT, then you know it has a shot at a 10.

This should work
Can almost guarantee that this has the typical back crease that hides in the rippled stock. Take a close look at it especially in the reverse middle near the top.

<< <i>Looks like the tilt on the Aaron brought the 7. >>

Theres PSA 9s with tilts worse looking than on his card. Re-sub it and send them the cracked holder with the flip so they have an idea
