PM10 Pins Question

I've been looking at the PM10 pins and see that PSA has graded some of them. But I also see that some come with different color ribbons attached along with either a metal baseball glove or a bat and ball.

Does anyone know if they were sold both ways? I would think that a pin with the ribbon removed would be considered altered. And do these pins have any value with or without ribbons?

Not positive on this but I think some were originally sold plain without the extra stuff (ribbons, charms), especially the older ones like the Hubbell below.

There are a few different types and they were issued for many years.

The presence or absence of the ribbon/charms has little or no effect on value, since they are for the most part interchangeable . . . i.e., a person could take the accouterments from a Joe Shlabotnik pin and put them on a Mickey Mantle.
