Sold a card TO Bert Blyleven last night....

Well... that's what his name was according to Ebay/Payal.... has a 'confirmed' address in MN.

Not real sure why he'd be buying up PSA 9 Roger Clemens Rc's for but... why not?
Low feedback... score in the mid-60's. Either just starting card collecting venture, or it's some dude out there with the exact same name.

I one sold a card to a Steve Carlton... but after a quick back-and-forth he admitted he wasn't THE ex-HOFer, just a guy with the same name.
Ironically... I sold that guy a small stack of Steve Carlton cards.

Anyhow... I can now say "I sold a card to Bert Blyleven." image

I believe Blyleven lives in Florida, but that's not to say he can't have a place in Minnesota too.

What state was Kevin living in? Mass? Minn?
  • I just sold a Ryan Dempster card to his dad this morning, thought that was pretty cool.

I'm showing a Ft. Myers, FL. address for Mr. Blyleven, but that isn't to say he doesn't have other addresses as well.

    It was actually New York.

Ya, I blame the weather.... I just looked one more time. The address on file ISN'T Minn... rather it's showing North Dakota.

I'm sure this is just another guy with the same name. Can't be too many people out there with that same name though.

Oh well... I once bought a loosing lottery ticket too!

Doesnt Blyleven announce for the Twins??? He could have a Minnesota address for the season and a Florida address for the winter! A pretty common practice in the upper midwest!! image

I sold a 77 T set to Ted Kubiak (an obscure player from the 70's - A's and Padres).
I asked if he was the same Kubiak as the card in the set and he said he was, and that he was buying a set from each year he played.
The next week he invited me to be a friend on his facebook.

Nothing exciting, but I once sold a card to Brett Myers brother... who was trying to collect one of every card made of his big league bro.

I had a sheet where I kept track of stuff like that...(I have since lost it)...

I know I sold cards (of himself) to a Marlins prospect
I sold cards of a Mets prospect to his Dad.

I delivered a pizza to Graig Nettles in the early 90s.

Correct, he does the TV play by play for the Twins. Could very well have a MN address.

Recently sold a 1971 Dave Conception RC, PSA 9, to Dimitre Young through his buyer, Mr. Bailey. Shippig address was to Mr. Young in Florida. I appreciated the bidding war that went on for the card, finally selling for over $500.
