So what do I have here?

One of my customers sorts out my foreign coins, and gets paid with product he picks out. I can figure out values for most coins, but I don't know what I have here.

Any idea what is here and values?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I haven't the time to properly scratch my head and ID those fully for you, but here are some hints.

#1 is Saudi Arabia, I think, and #2 might also be.

    #3 and #4 are Japanese.

#5 is Ottoman Empire, probably Turkish.

The first four appear to be silver, though the Japanese ones are probably low-purity silver (.500? Something like that.)

Best I can do without using the books.

    Thanks Lordmarcovan!

It looks like the Saudi and Turkey coins are not anything too exciting.

Still not sure on the Japanese coins, though.

I had a Saudi silver coin like that once and found it a tough one to grade. There's really not much in the way of high points to assess!

Saudi coins are 1 riyal, 1354 (1935) and 1367 (1947), both about $6.50 in VF and $8.50 in EF (according to ole' KM).

    Nice old coins!

The first Saudi coin is a silver Ryal dated AH 1354 (1935).
The second Saudi coin is a silver Ryal dated AH 1367 (1948).

The Turkish coin is dated AH 1327 (1909) accession year 2 (1911)
The size of the coin would determine the denomination in Piastres,
with a silver dollar sized coin being 20 Piastres.
