Nice mail day surprise. Panini comes through.... (edited for AP)

A couple of months ago, I ripped a 2007 Score Select FB case that I bought from Blowoutcards. It was cheap and I needed a fix. I was lucky, and I do mean LUCKY enough to pull an Adrian Peterson Rookie Auto (#d/40) out of the very last box in the case (autos came 1 to a box and there were 12 boxes to a case).

There were 3 expired redemptions, but I sent them to Panini anyway. These arrived in the mail today:

Matt Leinart Auto- #'d 3/5
Craig Davis "No Autograph" stamp - #'d 10/10
Ben Patrick Auto - #'d 08/25
Jacoby Jones Auto #'d - #'d 40/50
Charles Johnson "No Autograph" stamp - #'d 31/50

Not a lot of big value here, unless Leinart turns out to be better than what he has been so far, but I didn't really expect anything, so thanks Panini (Upper Deck could learn a lot from you)!!

Here is the AP that was pulled...#'d 11/40

Cool - I think you should post the AP card...did you keep that?
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

Done and yes, I did keep it. I am contemplating sending to PSA just to get it slabbed.

Were these the three players you had the redemption autos for or were these replacements?

I wonder what the deal is on the "No autograph" cards. I'm bettting those went unsigned and Panini decided to stamp them no autograph and release them as redemption fillers. Never seen a card company do that before but seems like a good way to get rid of the unsigned cards.

The redemptions I sent in were the Matt Leinart, Charles Johnson, and Craig Davis.

I have seen the "NO AUTOGRAPH" stamp all the way back to the 2002 Playoff Honors Rookie Stallions Autographs (/100). After a couple of years for those redemptions, I received a couple back without the auto, but stamped. Lucky me, I still have them image

Very nice cards Mike. That AP is sweet. That was great that Panini gave you the cards anyways. I busted a box of 2002 UD (I can't remember the brand) before X-Mas with my daughter and she pulled a redemption for a Griffey Jr. Auto Jersey. Any chance UD will redeem it? Ha ha.
