Why doesn't the guy who graded this card...

...work when my cards are submitted?

Wish the person who graded this card was working when my last submission went through....

A Generous 7

Looks like Terry's standing in a blizzard
  • Picture must have been taken at the first Winter Classic.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

just my thought... you go to mcdonalds or burger king and order a burger.... the guy hands you a fish sandwich... not too cool heh ???? you send your card to be graded....its a 7 but you get handed a 3.. then you resub and its a 9...hmmmmm.. make the graders names be known and guess what......3 STRIKES AND HE GETS HIS WALKING PAPERS !!!!!!! NOT FIT FOR THIS KIND OF WORK !!!!
always looking for 1969 graded basketball
  • maybe the grader just looked at the back.image
  • Its not just the snow - if you look at the hi-res scans, those corners look really soft - may be the scan, but the corners are really soft...

Is snow standard on 7's? kind of like centering defect on the 1958 Topps are acceptable?
  • Great question on the snow acceptability level - wish I knew the answer to that question as I have a lot of cards from this set that I have held back from grading because of the snow.

Also can you explain how centering defects in '58 Topps are acceptable? Are there cards in that set that are simply not available as centered?
    Just trying to learn!
    Thanks,
    Bob
