Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>AMAZING - Was this a crackout or did you submit it in the case?? >>
Thanks guys. It was in the SGC case.
1975 mini's
1954 Wilson Franks
<< <i>Nice job. I watched that card but having only succeeded in crossing over one stand up I passed on the auction. Hopefully you have a PSA 7 Santo to sell me.... >>
Thanks and my 7 is on ebay right now.
<< <i>..as a note, I am like 0-20 on crossovers. You can't tell me that SGC is so bad of a grader that they can't get at least ONE grade right out of a small sampling of 20!!! These were all same grade crossovers... >>
I have tried 3 crossovers and have left all 3 in the actual case from SGC and am now 2 for 3. I did put a minimum grade of an 8 on the form in case it would not cross. I successfully crossed a 61 topps santo from and SGC 96 to a PSA 9.
Thanks guys
<< <i>Were any of the cards you crossed high dollar cards? I think therein might be the problem for me - they are OK to do it, as long as it is not a high valued card? >>
My Santo rookie is a high dollar card to me. The last several have sold between 800 to 1200 in a PSA 9.
"I was 11 for 15 on my most recent crossover attempt, including a 59 Aparicio A.S. All were submitted in the holder with a minimum grade of PSA 8, except for one with no minimum."
Congrats on that submission
