Triple Play Vintage

Anybody dealt with these guys before? Won a card over 2 weeks ago, no card and no response. Wondering if mine is a unique experience or ongoing problem with this company.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

The dude had every excuse in the book when I bought a card from him. Finally arrived, surface crease and all (i had asked him about any creases before I bought , he replied there weren't any).

He was very lucky I was a much more easy going person back then. He is on my FO list

I have found them to be slow on shipping but generally accurate graders. He also has a GREAT money back policy. I have sent cards in to PSA where they came back months later as trimmed and he still did a refund.

I purchased a card from him on Feb 3rd and I just received it on Saturday. After asking about a week ago when it was shipped he told me that he shipped it on Saturday the 13th; 10 days after I paid for it. I started a thread on this a few days ago titled "what feedback would you leave?" It was about Triple play vintage. I think he still uses the pony express to ship the cards.

  • You mean Triple Play Trimmage?

A few years ago they used to be pretty good but now they do what everybody else does. Grade the best and sell the problem cards. He sells a lot of trimmed cards. Yes, return policy is good.

    Shipping is slow.
  • I am glad it is not just me. I bought a card on Feb 9th. I have sent him 3 messages through ebay and one directly to his e-mail address and still no response. He has over 25,000 feedback at 99%, but 1% of that many is a large number of neutral and dissatisfied customers. I think we will get the cards, but he obviously takes his sweet time with delivery!

  • After two messages to him I still have no repsonse. Tried filing a claim thru Ebay, they said I haven't given him enough time to ship this yet, I have to wait until the 26th. So I guess 17 days and still no card is acceptable per Ebay? I know I'm asking for a lot to get something I paid for promptly within 10 days time.

I have won cards from him, and he is REAL slow to ship, but I have always received what I won. I have also never had a problem with trimmed cards (knock on wood).....
