Raw scans from a local show today

I tried to spend more, but left after spending only $12. Thoughts???

    I'd like to see that Stottlemyre with a dark/black background (easily done by leaving the scanner lid up) and not cropped so tight.

    Don't know if you plan on grading them but the centering will kill you on the Bethea and the Perry. IMO not worth the fees and shipping to grade.

    That's a sweet Stottlemyre. FWIW, I've always scanned with a colored file folder laid on top of the cards. Even better if I set a small object on the card before laying the folder on there - creates room for shadows to help offset the card.

    Useless fact - my current object of choice is a Pete Rose Topps coin. image

  • I say $12 well spent on at least the Sutton and Stottlemyre. Like others said the other two may have centering issues but are nice.

    I agree - very nice cards - a little centering issue but not terrible.
