Expert grading opinions needed on 1970 Thurman corrected picture

Be critical! The one on the right is sharp but OC, the one on the left is centered better but not as sharp.
Thanks for the opinions!!

Is there any chance that the sharp OC one could be trimmed a bit? I can't see if they are both sitting even but it looks a bit shorter and if it is sharp that means there is always a chance of trimming.

Wish I could see the bottom of the cards better.

I'm with Luke on this one - the card on the right appears small - what does it measure?

I like the centered one on the left OK.

Ya might want to check the thread title.

I would say it looks like Evidence of Looking Nothing Like Thurman Thomas.
  • On another note, Duke Snider sure does look old in that managers uniform.

  • Gorman Thomas looks like Thurman Munson-that is where the mixup probably happened. Do you all like my avatar pic of Munson Gorman?
  • Can't really tell if the holders are lined up. If you look at the Ted Williams and Walt Alston, the Williams looks bigger then the Alston. May just be an optical illusion. Anyway the o/c Munson has a white dot above his name (on the holder?). It would easier to see the cards out of the top loads, or at least moved up in the holder.

    Michael,

The Munson on the left looks like it could grade as high as 7. The one on the right is either trimmed or undersized. For goodness sake, corect that title!

So THAT is what Thurman Thomas looked like before he spent all those days out in the bright hot sun on the football field! LOL

BTW ... if they are the same price, I'd take the Munson on the left EVERY time!

The Thomas on the right might be trimmed
Go with the Thomas on the left

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
