1976 Topps Tom Seaver

Just picked one up in a 9 and the focus is really bad. Common for the set or this card? His face is blurry to a point that it makes you a little seasick to look at it.

    Was this the card?

Hard to tell with pics - I like large scans way better.

He has a 7 day return policy - so if the registration stinks, I would tell him you are returning it - just state - "there's no way from your picture that I could tell the registration was off on the card" - he'll take it back.

Near perfect centering is what garnered a 9 on that card. Do you have the card in hand? I have a Seaver in a 9 also but registration is pretty clear.

  • That is the card. The picture in the auction and your shot do make it hard to tell. The card is a lot blurrier than that. I wanted to make sure from other 76 guys that this wasn't a common issue to this card in particular. I've contacted the seller to discuss a return. Thanks for the feedback.

Why would the seller be obligated to take it back? He didn't grade it. As long as he provided a sufficient scan, it's hardly his fault PSA holdered it with a 9 grade.

  • The sellers scan didn't show the detail needed to see just how blurry it is. He has a return policy. I've asked.
I agree that it's not his grade, but that of PSA. That was never the issue.

  • From that scan it looks like he's red in the face, almost like he's sick.
