It took 9 years to complete the 1970 set and 6 years to make your first CU post. I'm guessing you don't watch 60 minutes or eat minute rice. You know, a 15 minute call to GEICO could save you 15% or more. image

    Welcome and congrats.

    Very nice!

You don't hear too much about the '70 set (which makes it an even finer accomplishment!). What are the toughest cards in that one?

First, you need to upload the scans to somewhere, like maybe Photobucket.

Next, you post a link to the uploaded pic in your post, using the 'http' button above.

Or, failing at that, PM me with which ones you want to post and I'll do the post for you, using your registry scans.

    Congratulations!

I know you must be feeling really good about now.

Slow and steady - that's the ticket! I've been working on a 63F BB set since Jan 04 and only at 85% - so I can relate.

Good luck on your next project! Care to share?

You must have been the high bidder on that 1st series checklist on ebay that completed your set. I think it ended yesterday. Congrats on the completion!!!! I recall before ebay went to blocking who was high bidder on auctions, I remember seeing your name quite a bit on 1970 cards - ya got me at the end more than once.

I am pushing 95% completion and just sent in my complementary gradings. There really aren't any low pop cards that I need, they're just elusive.

It’s quite a large set. Congratulations to you, I hope to join you very soon.
