i just wanted to let you guys know that i'm ok......i've been bleeding a lot, but i don't think that i'll require hospitalization.

and so far, i've only ruined one card.
tools of ignorance: flathead screwdriver, Exacto knife, putty knife, letter opener, hammer.......6 outta 7 w/20 still to go.....i'll post the final totals later if i don't bleed out.

Those BGS ones are tough.....

yeah, but there's no substitute for the feeling of pride one experiences after a great achievement.
14 outta 15 now, no blood since card #2.

Yes, it's my Aaron, but I didn't crack it to try and get a bump. I cracked it in order to get it autographed.

All you need is a chisel, hammer and vice.
Place the card in the vice sideways, with the label end hanging off to the right side.
Put the chisel on the seam.
Give it a hard tap with the hammer. The seal will pop right away.
Turn the card over and repeat to other side by the label.
The chisel can now be put in the opening and then work your way around the slab.
It will pop very easily.
