SGC cards can be liberated the same way as a PSA card - carefully saw the edge of a knife across a corner until you can pry the blade in between the halfs of the slab, then carefully twist the knife and slide it along the edge to break the seal. Make sure you slide the knife around enough of the slab (at least one short and one long border) to remove card safely. I usually break the seal around three edges to make sure I don't hurt the card.

This reminds me that I should really put together a YouTube video of how I do my crackouts. It takes a matter of seconds and has been the easiest way that I've found. All that I use is a box cutter type razor and split the top seal and crack away. This system allows me to crackout about 3-4 PSA or SGC cards per minute without damaging the cards. Now, BGS is an entirely different situation.
I just rip a corner off with a pliers and then crack the slab with a screwdriver. Takes less than 30 seconds and there's no risk. Just make sure you point the screwdriver away from the card when sticking it between the slab so that if it slides it won't hit the card.
Geez....stand the slab up vertically, get a small flathead screwdriver and wedge it in the seam, use a hammer to drive the flathead in between to two pieces of plastic then you can work the screwdriver around the case until you can pop it with your hands.

I did that until one day it was *too* easy and when I inserted the screwdriver into the seam it went through the slab right into the card. I didn't press down hard either; it was like a knife going through butter.
I never had any trouble opening bgs slabs with the method stated above. The toughest I've ever seen to open were slabs by TFA (The Final Authority). I got a lower end Peyton Manning rookie in a lot several years ago and after tearing into the slab in any number of ways I just gave up and threw it away, lol.
