How long is acceptable?

Got some raw cards in the mail last week. About 22 1971 commons and high numbers. It was pretty obvious that at least half or more had been re-colored. I was surprised a seller like him that sells almost nothing but ungraded cards didn't notice this, wasn't too hard to see. He has a 7 day return policy. I contacted him saying I was sending them back, did so last Saturday. DC shows he got it last Thursday, no refund as of yet. And no answer to my email (sent Saturday morning) asking when I can expect the refund. Question is, how long is acceptable to wait for a refund before I file a claim?
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

I guess you can wait until Tuesday to file your PayPal claim.
Or, you can wait longer, if you want to be patient.
............
Ideally, you would have filed before returning the items AND
waited for PayPal to instruct you to make the return.
I've had to go the Paypal route when a seller does not respond to an issue. But when he responds back saying go ahead and send them back, I don't worry about it. I have no problem waiting for a few days to get my money back, but I would at least like him to acknowledge he received the cards, which the DC shows he did Thursday.
