Variation question

What sort of documentation does PSA look for in order to have a variation recognized? I have several 1953-55 Spic and Span postcards with a variation that is not documented in SCD. SCD currently lists these as either having a player name, stats, and Spic and Span advertisement or blank. The cards I have found have a sticker on the back that reads "Brills and Spic and Span are a double play combination that's really big league". Given that PSA has yet to grade any cards from this set, should I even bother with trying to get them to holder a variation? Brills (now Brills Brothers) is a garment company in Milwaukee.

Contact Bob Lemke. Without recognition from the Stantard Catalog, it's a more than uphill battle.

If you go to net54baseball.com and then to the post war pre 1980 forum and wander down the topics, you can find some posts by Mr Lemke on a 1963 and 1973 variation he is considering for the SCD Catalog. You can get a sense there of his criteria for including a variation in the Catalog from those posts. You may be able to contact him through their private message system. Bob sometimes post here too, and you may be able to pm him here. He also lists his email in his columns in SCD where he regularly discusses variations
