Looking for sports related things to do in Vegas.

Visting Vegas on March 19-22.
Noticed several members got autographs from Pete Rose and Steve Garvey in the past. Plan on stopping by the ESPN zone.
Anything else i might be missing out or not finding on google???
Just a couple days shy of a White Sox vs. Cubs spring training game. Don't wanna see the David Spade show!
Any good ideas? Thanks!

Go to a sports book and make a futures bet on Tim Lincecum to win Cy Young #3!

Dude....go to the PAWN SHOP! I am sure you know which one I am talking about if you watch Pawn Stars. If I go to Vegas again, that would be my first stop!

I will be there at the same time. I go every year for the basketball tournament. A good place to go is the Wynn for brunch overlooking the golf course. Very reasonable and it is only open during the week. I think it is open on Friday.

If you are going to watch the games anywhere is good. Caesars was great last year. Probably a couple thousand people in the sportsbook area. If you need any other ideas shoot me a PM.

  • You guys are great. Thanks for the input!

jimrad- indoor skidiving is very interesting. Speaking of the Bellagio, did you happen to see the "O"? I had that on my list
after seeing Ka and Mystere. Never thought i'd enjoy the theatre arts. I'm sure the bachelor party is all planned out for my buddy as well.

SOM- I'm putting my money down on Wainwright. He got screwed last year. Would love to watch Scum pitch in person.

Ankur- BIG fan of Pawn Stars. I gotta get the address to that place. Heard it wasn't all that impressive though. Would love to meet Chum Lee.

Definetly taking in a lot of March Madness at Caesar's. Don't think i could handle Andretti's School hung over. Would be a blast though.

    Thanks again!

"O" is by far the best show in Vegas. Much better than Ka or Mystere.
I think I have seen every show in Vegas.
Add - the Pawn Shop thing is very dissapointing, I wouldn't waste your time.

There's a store in the Forum shops in Caesar's Palace that has all the high-priced auto'ed memorabilia and sometimes they bring in people to sign autos for a fee. I saw Ken Stabler there once and Pete Rose was out to lunch when I stopped by. I love picking the futures on baseball so the time should be good for that with the season right about to get underway.

I just watched the College FB national champ game at Caesars, it was fun! I bet march madness is nuts there.

I also recommend the Bellagio buffet... holy smokes! and the seafood buffet at the Rio!

You could do what I do, and wear a Detroit Tigers hat as you gamble furiously in the dice pits.
