On the $4-$5 PSA specials that state 45-day turnaround (or longer), my subs pop in less than a week.
But when I pay extra for a faster turnaround time (10 day or 15 day), my sub goes the full distance every single time.
Right now I'm on my 14th business day on the current faster turnaround special, which really means about 22 days in all.

I will never again pay a premium for faster turnaround times, IMO they are a waste of money for the submitter.
If I added more cards and sent in a bulk order, I bet they would have popped by now.

My complaint is not in regards to the turnaround time. Every time I send in a sub on a 15-day or less turnaround time, I always get hammered (no pun intended) on the grades.

I'm going through exactly the same thing so I feel your pain. When you add in the 5 days it took to just input the order it becomes frustrating. My cards arrived there on the 2nd. 10 day turnaround. Unfortunately with reviews and crossovers you can't send Mantles in a bulk submission. Did you pay for the faster turnaround because of the value or time?

I paid for the faster turnaround time because I was under the mistaken impression that they'd be processed quicker

Wish I had THIS problem!! Mine almost always seem to go the distance. Sent in an order last day of Nov...logged Dec 7th...still no grades!!

I thought I saw a message about PSA's turnaround times being faster in 2010. My orders used to take 60 days and now the last order of 57 cards only took 30. I have had some sloooowwww orders in the past but mainly when it is a special going on.

Last 2 subs have been superfast. I've been very surprised. I wonder if it has to do with the sport whether it takes more time or less. I only submit hockey cards.

Novembers special took seven days from receiving to shipped. About 70 cards all hockey. Cards value $5 - $50

January special and the $14 fast turnaround special took 5 days from receiving to shipping. Cards valued $25 - $400

I usually jump through all the hoops with the submissions. Card savers, stickers, 100% all papers filled out and I even label the box correctly just like they like it.

What makes me even more surprised with the January sub is that it had 2 different levels of subs. 3 cards for the $14 level and the rest at the January special. I even had $72.00 in free vouchers collected this year from trimmed cards.

I also wonder if a grader just does hockey and there's not too many to grade then it goes even faster.

there's definitely something to say about having guaranteed turnaround times, especially when paying for a higher standard, personally my club subs usually take 2 months, the best I've done was 3 days using my free grades coupon...
