FSH: 1820 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS XF45.................TRUE VIEW PIC
The 1820 CBH O-108 R2 is the ONLY doubled die bust half in the entire series. The doubling can best be seen on the reverse at the lower left with the leaves being clearly doubled. This amazing half has excellent surfaces, light golden toning, ample luster on both sides, a weak strike at the central obverse (not uncommon for this date) but an excellent strike among the stars and on the reverse. Overall a very nice, early tough date CBH and in my opinion, undergraded due to the weak obverse strike. Comes with True View pics.

This sale offered the Eliasberg Collection which was the MOST COMPLETE collection of United States gold coins EVER offered. It is an ABSOLUTE must reference for the collector of United States gold coins.
The hardcover is blue cloth lettered in gilt. The catalog contains 1074 lots, 334 pp., illustrated, 44 color plates. The prices realized list is very nicely bound in at the back of the book.
It is in NEAR MINT condition with tight binding and no writing anywhere in or on the book.
Lastly, this is the RARE and seldom seen DELUXE CLOTH BOUND HARDCOVER edition of the auction catalog.
