Am I right to file a SNAD here?

Bought a lot of 500 plus cards, which are sent in a 720 count box, and that's it. Of course in transit the cards bounce around and each card has some level of damage in the same corner. I know there are no guarantees in condition in buying a lot, but I feel its obvious the sellers poor packing directly impacted the condition of most if not all cards. I sent him a note and in the end since they left his hands in good condition he doesn't feel he's responsible. Is a SNAD going too far?
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

  • I've had way too many transactions where the sellers want to wash their hands of damaged cards because of shoddy packaging. File the claim.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

Go ahead and file the claim. Take a picture of how the cards were packaged too.

You are correct, his poor packaging damaged the cards. He even admitted the cards did not have any damage prior to shipping, so there.

  • Dang it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was awaiting another low pop common that you manage to get in your jackpot lots that you always seem to pick up! This makes me sick that some sellers are careless about cards condition once they have been sold! I always ship graded cards in a card board box or two thick card board rubber banded together.

Sorry to ask, but what is SNAD? I have seen that used before but never really knew what it meant. And yes you should probably take the advice of the others and file I guess.
    Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback, gents - just looking for validation that I had a legitimate claim, and was not just butt-hurt here.
