2010 Topps Baseball in Stores (Bought a few packs)

I was running an errand today on my lunch break for my wife and had to go into Target. I went over to the card section and picked up a few packs of the new 2010 Topps Baseball. No major hits, but thought I would share.

were the Mantle, Musial and Cobb reprints in the packs???

it's really strange that they wouldn't put some kind of gold logo or something on the front of those reprints. The only way to tell that they're reprints (by the scan only) is the Topps logo on the front. An inexperienced person might take these as original until they receive them in-hand.

That's true. Not that that would help an inexperienced buyer, but the backs are totally different then the originals.

  • The Toppstown cards are pretty nice. Overall, not a bad looking set. Will have to buy a box pretty soon.

  • Got some more info on this years Topps. The one in a million redemptions are actually one -in-a-million! Topps bought 1 million of there old cards, at least 1 of each. If my math is right there should be an average of 22 cards of each. Which means there is a pretty small chance of getting 1950-1970's cards(most likely). There are a number of variations, which aren't on the initial checklist. Also, the one in a million redemption cards are going for $10+ on Ebay!
