OT - Private Info

As you know when you get e-mail from eBay it displays your ID along with your real full name. I received one of their payment reminders but it was for someone else. At first I thought my account was hacked because I never bought the item but then I saw the name. I now have the real name that goes with someone's eBay account. It makes me wonder who is getting my personal info. Has this happened to anyone else?

<< <i>I went back thru some of the messages I've gotten from ebay and none have my real name on them.....I found several that had my user name but none with my real name. Paypal messages are different, I've received those with my real name on them....sounds like a problem or fraudulent type of business to me....al. >>
I don't know if it shows up in the message part of eBay but it shows up if you open the actual e-mail. It is in small print above the large yellow bar that has the auction title. It states: eBay sent this message to "Your Name" (your eBay ID). Your registered name is included to show this message originated from eBay. Learn more.

No problem. I guess we were both typing at the same time. Getting older sucks. I remember the day when all of a sudden it hurt to lay on the living room floor while watching TV with my little cousin.

I did. It is real. It also shows the seller ID, real name, city, state, & zip. The transaction is real. All of the eBay links on the e-mail work properly. I am calling them now.
