Jeff I don't see you as a low-rider type guy,nice caddy,just need to lift it,put 26's on it with a 4"lift kit,oh yeah!
I would think without cards,I would have a few more cars, bigger rims, better paint, more speakers, etc. Thank god for football cards!Oh yeah,a bigger boat for sure.

I think those cars are more funny than cool. I'm not really the "donk" type, but I do dig the low riders. Air only, no hydraulics. I've always wanted a late '60s or early '70s caddy, with slow air and +20" wheels tucking lugs. Some day maybe. Since my wife doesn't want to have kids, maybe sooner than later.

I got a caprice 0n 26's,pretty sick,working on a 75 impala,get some lics up tomm. Got the wife a 300c,all rimmed up,sweet grill,looks great!
That's easy....if no cards, then the money simply gets diverted to my other hobbies.
It would first go into buying Gold coins (which also takes care of the long term investment aspect like some of you mentioned--keeping it in the bank to collect interest).
The rest would go into my Mercedes-Benz hobby (adding to my tool collection, more spare parts, etc.).
Come to think about it, I haven't spent that much on cards lately.....

This is my Suburban. I had hopes/dreams to put a 6" lift on it, but I've changed my mind and decided to leave this one go and start a new project. I have to pay off a bathroom renovation first, then I can start on my toy. I already have the wife's approval, now all I need to do is save some cash and find my starter car.
I helped my buddy build his S-10. We did all of the work ourselves, minus the paint. We notched the frame, shaved the tails, handles, and gas door. Installed caddy tails and designed a tilt-bed using air bags, all original design. Put the air tank where the gas tank used to be, installed a fuel cell and an engine-driven air compressor. This truck was a BLAST and did really well at most shows, including a couple national shows. Unfortunately he sold it this fall. Sucked...
Oh well, sorry for hijacking this thread talking about cars/trucks! lol

What is your list look like, you know the one,Bel-air at top-to much$,then theres the rest. What are you looking to do with say a $4000 starter car??The suburban can be fun to do the inside,I have a friend that has a 42" plasma plus 10 more thru-out,ps3,dvd's its sick.I had 13 T.V.'s in my 91 caprice not long ago, even had one in the grill, they are fun, then I get tired and start other stuff, what are you going to do? I would not mind a electra mid 60's,with lambo doors.

We put a screen and an XBOX 360 in that S-10 too. Pretty tight space for all of that! Oh, and Hyundai Tiburon seats. lol
I have a pretty short list of things I want to do with my future Caddy. Do a frame off reconstruct, new interior, cut/tub it so it can tuck 22s, air-ride with 3/8" or 1/2" lines. I want to keep it clean and simple. Slow and low...
I have pretty much always made a little money from cards, so I guess I would likely just collect less.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Well, seeing as how most of the money I spend on cards is run through my business, it becomes an expense, so a portion of it would have gone to the government and in essence 51% of Americans who need my money to survive.
The rest of the non taxable money would probably have gone to better restaurants (OCharleys instead of Shoneys), more toppings on pizza (Pepperoni AND Beef and not just Pepperoni), Filet Mignon instead of NY Strip, Orange Crush instead of "Orange" Soda, Bigger bags of Doritos, lower section seats instead of Upper Deck seats at Predator games/Titans games and finally if there was any money left over a few gold coins for my personal collection
