Finally, a #1 Registry Set

It took leaving the country, but a few label changes finally came through in Newport Beach and I was able to add them to my 1948 Leaf Football Master Set and moved into the #1 slot. Next on the horizon is to take over the #1 All-Time slot which should only take a few upgrades or another card or two added to the few slots that are missing. Can't wait to get back, pick up the mail and put them in the MJ Roop Box...

    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Very cool Scott congratulations.

  • Nice set but it in no way compares to my 1989 Fleer For the Record set. My #1 spot will live on for eternity unless the world ends in 2 years.

Still haven't finished the basic, although I'm close. Need 8 more and three of them are in for grading. Should be at 100% on the basic in the next 6-8 weeks, then it's on to the upgrades and finding the elusive (I still believe mostly 1 of 1's) White Backgrounds and getting the uncataloged ones included as I have three additional ones that "do not exist."

It took me less than 2 years to get it to where it is...and I didn't break the bank (too much).

Word to your mutha MMF Scott!

Sadly, you've had to trample on the other good people of the registry, namely my 48 leaf basic set to get where you wanted to go.... tromping on the shoulders of the losers to get to your station in life.... typical me me, now now mentality image

    Nice set!

I really like it when people take the time to include scans in their sets. I'm in the process of re-scanning all of my cards with my new Epson Perfection, so I can really appreciate the effort it takes.

While I have no clue what any of this means, congrats Scott.

I still talk about the Pristine Arod RC you had!
