that is when I lost track of them. They brought many folks into the hobby.

I think the Mays poster signed was a freebie one year when you bought the sets from Renata...if I remember correctly if you bought one of each set (oh the days of only three card companies) you got the poster for free.....wish I still had the magazines....will have to look.

I feel that his '53 Topps is his best card -- a classic card, bordering on a work of art.
The Perez-Steele Greatest Moments Willie Mays is pretty cool, too.

No one has mentioned the '62, which is a wonderful card. Like Aaron, Clemente and Banks, the man just looked right in a uniform on a sunny day.
