Graders working today?

Don't want to check my subs every 10 minutes all day if they aren't.

I was wondering this myself. I'll probably gain an hour of productivity today if they aren't. image

Yeah I've been doing the compulsive check thing all day too... they're probably working since they're not a government-run business. Just assuming...

I would hope that they are not working, because if they are working, I'm sure they are in a bad mood for being there....and who knows what kind of grades they are going to give out.
  • They should be working. Its just a government holiday.

    Not true.

    a) The stock market is closed and most all offices affiliated with Wall St are closed.
    b) Many ad agencies are closed.

The PSA graders ARE working today!

    Also FYI ....

Retail stores: Open at owner’s discretion

    Liquor stores: Open

    Supermarkets: Open

    Convenience stores: Open

    Taverns, bars: Open

Banks: Most closed; a few in-store branches may be open with Sunday type hours

    Stock market: Closed

    Municipal, state federal offices: Closed

    Libraries: Closed

    Schools: Closed

    USPS Mail: Express deliveries only

As for other businesses, it's best to check on a case-by-case basis locally.

Local listings for what's open and what's closed on Martin Luther King Day in your neck of the woods can usually be found in your local newspaper.
