Scam? SGC cards this time: Edit: Stealing Memory Lane Scans

And some GAI. The guy has perfect feedback as a seller if you count all negatives as perfect. Never bought or sold a high end card before now and has SGC mint Mantles for sale. I don't know if he stole scans or what but it looks fishy.

I'm betting that picture isn't really her. Since they stole images from Memory Lane for the cards I'm surprised they didn't steal an Erin Andrews picture and use that.

I was the consignor of the SGC Ted Williams card.....I don't think this person was the winning bidder....

These auctions need to be poofed. I would suggest you contact ebay and let them know the person doesn't own these cards.

I sent a question to her/him about the '60 Mantle earlier today saying that I owned that card and I was reporting them to the proper authorities/ebay, etc...and that I knew they were stealing the pictures from memory lane and other auction houses. It is gone now. So maybe I helped a little.

From ebay rep regarding pulling the scammers auctions ....

"Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your report on Image and Text
Theft.

I reviewed all the information you sent, but I don't have enough
evidence to show that the seller violated any eBay policies.

Sometimes members allow others to use their images. It's also possible
that the seller got the photo from the same source or from a source we
can't verify. In either case, we can't remove the listing.

The only way we can take action in a case like this is if the person who
owns the image or text writes to us directly.

If you feel strongly about this issue, I recommend that you contact the
content owner and suggest that he or she contact us. Once we hear from
the owner, we can respond appropriately."

I contacted memorylaneinc with the info!

This just proves the story in the description is false and the whole listing is a lie. Hard to believe a sane person from Ebay wouldn't know this is a scam.

Here's trichardz09's response after I contacted him and told him that I reported every one of his auctions to eBay and had also notified Brad at memorylaneinc:

i sold this card earlier to a man who traveled from philadelphia and
he loves the card ,check your serial numbers before you accuse
someone..the auction is ended

I'm glad to see eBay pulled every one of his auctions!

Some ask why we take our time reporting these cabrones.

For me, it's the satisfaction of letting the dirtbag know that there are people out there watching! Maybe he'll think twice before relisting ... but probably not.

Granted, we'll NEVER catch them all, but somehow catching them one at a time is just enough to keep the search alive.

I hope ya'll never pull my auctions! All my stuff is LEGITIMATE! I am the legal owner and have said card in my possession!
