<< <i>Boxing day is from the Victorian tradition of giving your servants left over food in BOXES on your doorstep. Not gifts >>
Not quite there Scoop - the boxes could contain any number of things including money, gifts or food. The idea of food comes from the fact that it was usually the sevant's day off and the families ate cold cuts or other non-prepared foods. These boxes are not always left on a doorstep. I'm not sure where you got your info from.

Happy birthday to all who celebrate it today. >>
People have really gotten distracted from the true meaning of Knightmas. So sad.
How many of you heard "Merry Knightmas" today? I didn't hear it at all...just the generic "Happy Holidays". I think I'll flip out if I see one more person abbreviate the spelling like this: mas.

For the rest of you who celebrate this holiday like civilized people, what's your favorite Knightmas tradition/memory?
My favorite was the year we had an Eric Davis cardboard figure. We all took turns punching it.

I didn't get my servants anything this year, you know, because of the economy and all.
